Key Functions
- Management and oversee all financial activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and assess the company’s weekly cash flow and payment status.
- Oversee the monthly financial reports and financial closing process for all accounts.
- Calculate and reserve monthly taxes to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Develop quarterly budgets and compare with the actual performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for audits, providing necessary documents and information for the annual audit process.
- Ensure all company tax filings, registrations, and other legal obligations are fulfilled in collaboration with the Revenue Department (RD) and the Department of Business Development (DBD).
- Compile and summarise financial statements for all entities within the organisation.
- Oversee the management and administration of company loans, including proper documentation, repayment, and compliance with financial agreements.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as the operations team for financial reporting, the HR department for salary cost allocations, and the legal team on BOJ5 filings, company registration, and tax registration.
The Candidate
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related filed.
- Minimum 10 years of experiences in accounting or finance management.
- CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and tax laws.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good command of written and spoken English
