Key Functions
- Oversee the financial operations of the holding company and its subsidiaries.
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of financial statements.
- Design and maintain financial models and forecasting tools.
- Conduct detailed financial performance analyses and produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including executive summaries.
- Lead the budgeting process, monitoring performance and collaborating with business unit leaders to develop comprehensive budgets.
- Continuously refine financial forecasts to reflect changing business dynamics, market conditions, and strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations, staying updated on regulatory changes and adapting internal processes accordingly.
- Oversee cash flow planning and management.
- Develop and maintain strong banking relationships, negotiating terms, and implementing effective cash management practices.
- Provide detailed cash flow forecasts to the CEO and Board.
- Conduct financial analysis related to capital investments, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Collaborate with the CFO to formulate and execute long-term financial strategies.
- Perform financial risk assessments and advise the CEO on risk mitigation strategies and potential opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide financial leadership in strategic discussions.
The Candidate
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- CPA, CFA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Experience in senior financial management roles.
- Expert knowledge of advanced accounting principles, financial regulations and global reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Proficiency in leading financial software and systems, including Oracle systems, Excel and financial modelling tools.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Able to travel to subsidiaries and business units with Thailand as needed.
