Key Functions

  • Develop and execute the claims department’s strategic vision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align claims processes with business goals.
  • Monitor industry trends and implement best practices.
  • Oversee end-to-end claims processing, from intake to resolution.
  • Ensure accurate assessment, validation, and payment of claims.
  • Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and fraud.
  • Lead and mentor a team of claims professionals.
  • Foster a positive work environment, encouraging growth and development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay informed about insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure claims processes adhere to legal guidelines and industry standards.
  • Champion customer-centric practices within the claims department.
  • Address escalated customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to enhance overall satisfaction.
 

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Insurance, Nurse or related field, master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in health insurance claims management.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of team development.
  • In-depth knowledge of claims processing, coding, and reimbursement.
  • Good communications skill with an excellent spoken and written English.
