About the Role:
Drive development in the shrimp aquaculture market and provide content to marketing and communication teams to drive campaigns and communication outreach
Key Responsibilities:
- Take lead in shaping and executing the product strategy.
- Be a key contributor to the USPs and concept development of feed ingredients to the shrimp market.
- Monitor trends in feed ingredients and feed formulation.
- Provide market insights and competitor analysis to improve USPs.
- Employ formulation and farm simulation tools to monitor ingredient price and value of biological benefits in farms.
- Respond to technical needs and requests from customers, specifically farmers and feed producers.
- Monitor ingredient marked trends, including price fluctuations and what ingredients are in surplus or demands as well as ingredients seeing increased interest.
- Participate in sales meetings, seminars, conferences, workshops and similar events.
- Evaluate and develop product strategies and collaborate with marketing on campaign content and campaign executions.
- Advice on what documentation/research results will be most valuable toward supporting the value proposition in the market.
- Participate and initiate product innovation, including development and rebranding.
- Follow up scientific trials that are being conducted in collaboration with local scientific or commercial entities.
- Translate UPS to benefit the different shrimp markets globally, primarily Asia and Latin America
What we’re looking for:
- Relevant educational background at master’s or PhD level, can be replaced with relevant work experience.
- At least 5 years’ experience in shrimp nutrition.
- Knowledge and practical experience with strategic product development.
- Excellent English skills written and verbal. Chinese language skills is a benefit
