About the Role:

Our client is a leading electronics manufacturing company with a strong presence in global markets. As the company continue to grow, we are seeking a Planning and Material Control Manager to lead our planning and material control team and support our fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the team to manage the production planning and schedule to meet the high quality, timely delivery and cost-effective
• Plan, schedule, and monitor material inventory movement in production to ensure production target can be achieved by working with purchasing and production teams
• Supervise the scheduling functions using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to monitor and measure the materials required to supply factory
• Analyze production performance versus production planning to drive production efficiency and effectiveness
• Measure, analyze and improve direct material inventory turns, adherence to MOQ and BOM accuracy and obsolete by the implementation of corrective action and process enhancement
• Work with HK Sales team and Procurement team on sales order and purchasing order inquiries i.e. pull-in, pull out and cancellation
• Work related to BOI and Thai Customs regulation.

What we’re looking for:

• Degree holder in Supply Chain Management / Industrial Engineering/ Material Engineering.
• Over 10 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry in sizeable companies; with at least 3 years of managerial experience
• Must have solid understanding of production schedule, supply chain, MRP and inventory management process.
• Familiar with the manufacturing process and material requisition planning process.
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent problem- solving abilities
• Result-oriented with strong leadership and management skills, Self-initiative, independent, mature, able to work in a dynamic environment with a strong sense of ownership
• Good command of spoken and written Thai and English
• Basic knowledge of spoken Mandarin or Cantonese will be an advantage
