Position: Assistant Accounting Manager
Location: Bangkok

Report: Accounting Manager
Key functions:
- Responsible for managing and supervising the entire corporate accounting operation.
- This includes preparing and reviewing financial reports, budget planning, tax management, and coordinating with relevant parties to ensure all operations are accurate, transparent, and compliant with accounting standards and legal regulations.
- Control and review accounting entries and the preparation of corporate financial reports.
- Approve and verify the accuracy of accounting transactions and team performance.
- Review the completeness and accuracy of financial statements and accounting data.
- Verify company asset registers and coordinate with relevant parties regarding insurance matters.
- Coordinate with asset valuation companies for land appraisal every 3 years and prepare related reports.
Tax, BOI, and Stock Exchange (SET) Management - Plan and control tax payments, including Value Added Tax (VAT), Corporate Income Tax, and other applicable taxes.
- Supervise tax filings to ensure full accuracy and legal compliance.
- Monitor and manage BOI privileges to ensure adherence to all terms and conditions.
- Prepare and submit quarterly and annual financial statements to the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).
Budgeting and Financial Analysis - Prepare the annual budget and track operational performance against the established plan.
- Analyse financial data to propose guidelines for improving organizational efficiency.
- Manage and develop the accounting team to optimize work efficiency.
- Plan training and development programs to enhance team skills.
- Improve business workflows to increase operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure all accounting operations strictly comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Review workflows and financial reports to mitigate risks and minimize errors.
- Provide accounting and financial advice to management to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate effectively with both internal departments and external organizations.
- Coordinate with external auditors for the annual financial statement audit.
- Prepare required documentation and relevant data to facilitate the audit process.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
The candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, and sound knowledge of Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and relevant tax laws.
- Ability to analyse financial data and generate comprehensive financial reports.
- Proven experience in cost accounting within an industrial or manufacturing business.
- Experience using SAP accounting software is highly preferred.
- Must qualify as a bookkeeper under the regulations of the Federation of Accounting Professions.
- Demonstrated experience in team management and internal organizational coordination.
- Ability to travel and work at the Chumphon factory and subsidiary companies for 1–2 weeks per month.
