- Prepare and present product selection proposals, including product testing and approval processes with the committee. Ensure selected products meet customer needs, market trends, and seasonal or festive demands.
- Continuously identify opportunities to differentiate product categories by monitoring market trends and customer feedback. Develop assortments suitable for different sales channels (Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Convenience Stores, and Wholesale) while strengthening brand performance.
- Analyze store clustering and define product range/programs aligned with customer behavior, store location, and market insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop impactful promotional campaigns and plan promotions aligned with timing and regional strategies.
- Improve space management and product display execution to enhance product availability and maximize space productivity.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to maintain optimal stock, improve inventory turnover, and minimize overstock risks.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and consumer behavior to forecast demand, plan purchasing, and optimize product mix across distribution channels.
- Evaluate category performance and enhance shelf productivity based on consumer purchasing behavior.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to negotiate trade terms and evaluate supplier performance to support sustainable business outcomes.
- Coordinate internally with Sales, Marketing, Production, R&D, and related teams to ensure efficient new product launches and replenishment processes.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Merchandising, Category Management, Buying, or Retail Product Management.
- Experience in pricing strategy, promotional planning, and space management.
- Strong analytical skills in sales data and customer behaviour analysis.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI (preferred).
