QA Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and control production processes by coordinating with management and relevant departments to define operational targets and ensure execution in accordance with established plans.
  • Plan and oversee quality assurance activities covering the entire process, from incoming raw materials through production processes to finished goods.
  • Control and continuously improve product quality systems to align with customer requirements and the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Manage procurement of chemicals and equipment used in quality control activities, ensuring necessity, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.
  • Supervise and monitor the performance of the Quality Control and Research & Development (R&D) departments.
  • Control and monitor the inspection and acceptance process of incoming raw materials (e.g. fresh fruit bunches – FFB), and summarize evaluation results for relevant stakeholders.
  • Plan and coordinate training programs for department staff to ensure proper understanding of quality systems and customer requirements, such as SWA, SQMS, and FSA.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including customer audits and regulatory authority inspections.
  • Meet with customers as assigned to explain quality-related matters and address customer concerns or issues.
  • Coordinate with Production, Marketing, and Project teams on quality-related matters, including energy conservation initiatives to achieve corporate goals, as well as quality system implementation within affiliated companies (CPP).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Science, Food Science, Chemistry, or other related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the agriculture and food industry.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with quality management systems such as FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and RSPO.
  • Good understanding of customer and industry requirements, including SWA, SQMS, and FSA.
  • Experience or working knowledge of ERP systems or manufacturing information systems.
